The Public Information Officer at Jharkhand Police Headquarters has been changed under the RTI Act, 2005, Section 5 (1). Deepak Kumar Sharma is being designated as the Public Information Officer in Ranchi. Inspector General of Police and Director General has issued an order that Deepak Kumar Sharma should take this responsibility immediately. Under the RTI Act, Deepak Sharma should process the applications received related to the police headquarters.
