Radisson Hotel Group has made a big decision to expand its operations in religious centers and business corridors in India. This deal includes expansion in seven states in India that cover six brands under the Radisson Group. This expansion will help spread across India's emerging markets. Through this deliberate strategy of expansion, the Radisson brand will create its identity in tier 2 and tier-3 cities, religious centers, business hubs, and wildlife corridors. The expansion strategy includes hotel additions in Andhra Pradesh, UP, and Tirupati. Radisson will also expand in tech hub Bengaluru, and already five hotels are in the pipeline apart from the existing seven operational hotels. Due to the growing leisure and MICE demand, Radisson also plans to expand in Jawai, Rajasthan, Vadodara, Gujarat, and Nanital, Uttarakhand, and a 55-room capacity hotel in Karnataka. Vice President of South Asia, Davashish Srivastava, Radisson Group Hotel, said that this portfolio is diversified from resort projects to wildlife destinations that would result in Radisson's growth.
